Society of Military Spouses in STEM Partners with Freedom Learning Group

(WOODBRIDGE, VA) Society of Military Spouses in STEM (SMSS) today announced a strategic partnership with the Freedom Learning Group, LLC (FLG) in their most recent effort to employ qualified military spouses as educational content providers. FLG has rapidly become a trusted name in the content services industry by providing exceptional educational content developed by an underutilized, untapped resource; Military Spouse and Military Veteran Subject Matter Experts. FLG recently celebrated their 75th hire from the military community in just their second year of operation. This partnership means more career opportunities for military spouse STEM professionals, and a deeper bench of resources for academic publishers and corporate training facilitators seeking high quality content solutions.

The mission of SMSS is to support active and retired military spouses in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields to reach their full potential. They have created a network to connect military spouses in STEM that provides academic and career guidance, mentorship, challenge resolution, and increasing career, internship, education, and scholarship opportunities for military spouses in STEM fields.
